For more than 55 years, Mike has worked at all levels of banking and business administration in Kerr County. From state and federal oversight appointments to leading multiple local banks, Mike understands fiscal policy and stewardship. This deep experience is needed in a time where wise budgeting is vital to the future of our county.
Mike has served Texans in Kerr County and beyond for decades. He's a former LCRA board member, former Director of Headwaters Groundwater Conservation District, and former board member of Bankers' Advisory Board, Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce, Kerr Economic Development Foundation, and more.
As Kerr County faces challenges from catastrophic flooding, Mike's proven record of problem solving will serve our county well. With deep understanding of how policy is made and works, housing and finance-related experience, and working among goverment levels for the benefit of Kerr County, Mike brings strong expertise to navigate the rebuilding process.
Born in Austin, raised in Burnet County, and a resident of Kerrville since 1986, Mike is committed to protecting our Hill Country lifestyle and seeking the best for Kerr County. He holds a BBA in Business from Texas State University, and invests his time in building a better Kerr County.
